Children's Grant Program
Over time, it became clear that many children were facing challenges that extended far beyond December: going hungry, missing out on enriching experiences like spring and summer camps, and lacking access to essential resources after difficult life circumstances. These realities highlighted a growing need to support children year-round, not just at Christmas.
With programs already in place in Greater Victoria to address these challenges, the number of children in need far outweighed the available resources. In response, the Children’s Grants Program was established in 2002 to fund and strengthen local programs that provide real, measurable support to children and families in Greater Victoria throughout the year.
Thanks to the continued generosity and support of our community, we are able to carry on the Children’s Grants Program for another year!
