In the wake of tragic events such as fires or floods, the CFAX Santas Anonymous Society acknowledges the profound impact on children and youth within our community. Recognizing the vulnerability that arises from such circumstances, our dedicated Funding Committee takes proactive steps to assess and respond to the needs of affected children. It is our mission to provide timely support and assistance to ensure that no child faces adversity alone during these challenging times.
Furthermore, while British Columbia's health program funding provides essential support, it may not always cover critical health issues faced by children and youth, putting families at risk of despair and children at risk of limited access to necessary treatments.
Recognizing this gap, CFAX Santas Anonymous Society established The Greater Good, a vital funding resource aimed at bridging these gaps and helping children whose well-being may otherwise be compromised.
Through The Greater Good, we strive to prevent children and youth from slipping through the cracks, ensuring that they have access to the support and resources they need to thrive.

Every month, more than 170 youth experiencing homelessness, substance abuse and family trauma find a safe space at the Sanctuary Youth Centre in downtown Victoria. From Thursday to Sunday each week, the centre provides drop-in youth with access to showers, meals, groceries, mentorship and extracurricular activities that foster meaningful relationships on an individual level.
