CFAX Santas Anonymous Society’s Covid Pivot There are two priorities for the Christmas Program 2020: A sense of normal for thousands of children – Christmas for local children and food for the family can achieve this! Support local – our local community has suffered immense economic loss; our program supports the local economy at Christmas each year.  $550,000.00 in gifts and toys were purchased locally by the public in 2019 for 2,633 children registered with Santas and hundreds of children served by South Island Foster Parent Association, local daycares and Victoria General Hospital (to name a few).   How can we...

Al Ferraby’s $21 for 21k

Al Ferraby’s $21 for 21k

For over ten years, Al Ferraby has run in the annual Oak Bay Half Marathon to raise funds for charity. This year’s event has been cancelled due to COVID-19, but Al is continuing his commitment to raise funds for children and family in need. On May 24, he’s going to run a solo marathon (on a private route) with the goal of collecting $10,000 from our community. And to make it happen, Al needs your help!
