DFH celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year as a local, family owned business. For over 20 years DFH Read Estate Ltd. has supported CFAX Santas Anonymous as a major donor.
Kevin Sing, DFH President, has a connection with CFAX Santas Anonymous since he worked at CFAX 1070 (1993-1995) as a promotions manager. Kevin acted as station liaison to the charity promoting community and corporate fundraising. Another strong connection between DFH Real Estate and CFAX Santas is Marilyn Cann, co-founder of CFAX Santas Anonymous Society. Marilyn was a DFH Realtor from 2001 through to her retirement.
In recent years DFH Real Estate Ltd. created a collective known as DFH Agents Care. This collective looks for opportunities to donate time and resources to better the communities where they live and work.
DFH has undertaken a number of different ways to raise funds, through their Annual DuFher’s Classic Golf day to 50/50 draws, to Parking Lot BBQ’s and of course, the current version of the Annual Santa’s Listing program where the Realtors pledge an amount of their commission sales per transaction -- year-round. DFH Real Estate matches those contributions.
DFH Agents Care are volunteer supporters of CFAX Santas taking time out of their busy schedules to host the Tree of Wishes over several days.
In 2020 DFH Real Estate Ltd. and DFH Agents Care donated $23,000.00.
